The report provides a literature review of research in Aboriginal Education and an overview of the project. The report also provides successful strategies in the context of five themes: FNMI parent and community engagement; FNMI cultural and language programming; teachers, instruction and curriculum/resources; professional development and individual student support. This resource is focused on professional development for districts and schools and supports a student/classroom connection and Alberta Education program or initiative.
