Visual impairment generically covers a continuum of visual functioning and can include the following terms: blind, legally blind, partially sighted, low vision, or cortically visually impaired. For educational purposes, an individual with visual impairment is one whose visual acuity is not sufficient for the student to participate with ease in everyday activities. Thriving with Blindness: 2BB-Bradford and Bryan’s Story
The same 2BB (2 Blind Brothers) that appeared on the Ellen Show! Bradford and Bryan Manning are incredible siblings diagnosed with Stargardt disease. They decided that they would use their situation to help others. They developed their own line of clothing; sales from the company provide money into medical research regarding blindness. They incorporate braille within their designs to represent their struggle with the disease.
